JCPenney to Webcast April 22 Analyst Meeting

PLANO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 15, 2009-- J. C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE:JCP) will host a meeting for analysts and investors on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 in New York City. Beginning at 8:00 a.m. ET, select members of JCPenney’s senior management team will take part in panel discussions to be moderated by Myron E. (Mike) Ullman, III, chairman and chief executive officer of JCPenney. Panelists will also take questions from the audience. Panel discussions will conclude at 12:30 p.m.

Panel discussions and Q&A sessions will be available via a real-time webcast. The webcast may be accessed through JCPenney’s Investor Relations page at www.jcpenney.net, or on www.InvestorCalendar.com and www.streetevents.com (for members). Replays of the webcast will be available for up to 90 days after the event.

For individuals without access to the webcast, the meeting will also be available through a live conference call in listen-only mode.
