JCPenney has planned its largest Black Friday sales event with over 300 Doorbuster specials - the most offered in Company history - enticing customers to take advantage of its 4 a.m. opening the day after Thanksgiving. With a broad array of irresistible Black Friday specials, JCPenney is proving its leadership as America's gift headquarters this season with unique and innovative merchandise for a full range of ages, lifestyles and budgets.

Black Friday Promotions
Shoppers may preview all of JCPenney's Black Friday specials online at jcp.com beginning Nov. 18 or in newspaper inserts on Thanksgiving Day. This year's expanded 72-page Black Friday sales circular includes an additional 14 pages of Doorbuster and Big Buy offers compared to last year. JCPenney will also offer customers additional Black Friday discounts from 3-11 p.m. using JCPCA$H redeemable for $10 off purchases of $50 or more and $15 off purchases of $75 or more.
To reinforce the Company's strong merchandise offering for Black Friday, JCPenney will be the exclusive retail sponsor for a new shopping site www.readysetshop.net, which will showcase JCPenney's gift assortment this season. As part of this sponsorship, a JCPenney-branded "Ready, Set, Shop!" special section - appearing in more than 85 newspapers across the country on Thanksgiving Day - will highlight JCPenney's top 12 Black Friday deals. Additionally, JCPenney will invite customers to enter to win one of 50 JCPenney $500 gift cards through its "Lucky List" sweepstakes, which will be featured on the Ready, Set, Shop! website and special newspaper section.
Time-strapped customers who prefer to avoid the shopping crowds will appreciate the Company's mobile commerce site (m.jcp.com) as a convenient option for making purchases on jcp.com directly from their phone. Additionally, JCPenney's mobile apps - available on iPhone, iPad and Android - allow users to browse the Black Friday sales circulars, create a portable shopping list, view their JCP Rewards account or locate the nearest JCPenney store.
Customers can also obtain Black Friday savings by signing up for JCPenney's mobile coupons (text JOIN to JCP365); by "checking-in" to one of over 1,100 JCPenney stores via Foursquare, Brightkite, or Facebook Deals on Facebook Places; or by playing JCPenney's gift hunting game on its new Apple(R) iAd that encouragesusers to find a $10 off coupon as they explore an assortment of holiday gifts from JCPenney. JCPenney will also reveal Black Friday specials on its Facebook (www.facebook.com/jcpenney) and Twitter (www.twitter.com/jcpenney.com) feeds starting Nov. 18. Cyber Monday Sale
Customers will also find additional deals throughout the weekend as well as special offers on JCPenney's "Biggest Cyber Monday Sale Ever" beginning Sunday, Nov. 28 through Monday, Nov. 29 with over 40,000 deals available exclusively on jcp.com. Online orders over $25 are eligible for free home shipping from Nov. 24 through Nov. 30 or customers may take advantage of free shipping to any JCPenney store until 2011.
